Every year we get to this point and so often many miss out because they failed to capitalize on the opportunity before hand. I am all about preparedness and waiting out an opportunity. It is now October 13th and I along with my clients I’ve suggested they sign up on any and all gig platforms! From postal services to UPS and FedEx, to GoPuff have access to as many work platforms as possible.
Merchants more than ever will incentivize online shopping guaranteeing various forms of shipping.. Also this will include forms of return shipping as well. With C-19 concerns still in somewhat concern and many department stores having closed down I do no force many of these businesses having the capacity for many shoppers. This will help aid in the delivery demands too, People have been so displaced from family, outdoor activities, etc. that though I believe shopping will be in great demand people will choose events and functions over direct shopping. The pass 9 months have conditioned people more than ever to online shopping and other forms of delivery / pickups.
So, have you considered that many ways to earn extra holiday dollars closing out 2020? Do you believe you can close out on top going into 2021 profitable after-all? If you are self-employed you know more than ever that one source of income, no matter how dependable it seems to be cannot be the end all be all source. I am a firm believer in gig exploration and diversifying gigs on a broad spectrum. Having this access during Covid allowed me not to have to draw on not governmental assistance this entire 8-months.
